The first phase consists of applying a serum rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to your face. Then, the micro-needling is carried out using a micro-needle pen called Dermapen® that the therapist slides over your skin. The micro perforations allow the cocktail of active ingredients to penetrate your epidermis, while stimulating the formation of its collagen.

When used occasionally, this treatment offers a super glow. With repeated sessions, it refines the skin texture and smoothes out skin irregularities such as large pores, dark circles and acne scars.

Recommendations

Micro-needling by Dermapen is not recommended for dark, mixed race or oriental skins. On these phototypes IV, V or VI the treatment will be carried out with a mesotherapy needle.

What should I look out for after the treatment?

During the 48 hours following a micro-needling session you should avoid exposure to the sun, as well as other sources of heat such as the sauna.

What product is applied to the skin before the Dermapen?

The product is from the brand Filorga. It contains a blend of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid - all essential ingredients for the health and beauty of your skin.

What is Dermapen?

The Dermapen is a mechanical micro-puncture system. The device consists of two parts, an electric handpiece and a disposable tip with 12 microscopic needles. The needles penetrate the skin approximately 100 times per second, to a depth of 0.5 to 1.5mm. The micro-perforations create an abrasive sensation during the session, and a warming sensation in the skin immediately afterwards.
