In winter, nature is silent. Like a pause in time until spring. This silence, this moment of rest, should encourage us too, slow down a little. Take more time to listen to yourself, pamper yourself, promote your well-being and preserve your resources.
From November onwards, the days become shorter and the light decreases. These phenomena are reflected on our faces - pale complexion, dark circles, drawn features - and also on our morale - we are a little more sensitive and in a morose mood. One solution would be to harmonise with the rhythm of nature by adding an hour of sleep to our winter nights. And for those - like me - who have trouble sleeping, we need to find other ways to compensate for the lack of sunlight. Dawn imitator alarm clocks, pulsed light facials, holidays in the sun, lots of cuddles... The aim is to fan your inner fire, to make your skin more beautiful, to make you feel better. radiate his smile, his skin, his thoughts, to make shine its light on others and the world.
In winter we tend to eat more; to warm up, to brighten up, because seasonal dishes are often richer in fat, because the end-of-year celebrations are greedy. Yes, we are in a period of excess, so let's take the time to choose what really pleases us and let us be content with that. Food is expected to nourish our soul as well as our body. So let's relax, enjoy every minute of sharing and make every meal a precious moment of pleasure.
Ten years ago, Dr. Polla introduced the concept of "slow beauty" to the Forever Institute. This concept involves a conscious, responsive and sustainable vision of beauty. We choose treatments that respect our bodily and emotional integrity; we decide to advance in age in a dignified way, taking care of ourselves. We allow ourselves time to reflect on what we need to blossom, by building a long-term vision of aesthetic care. We combine techniques, we sequence the sessions, for a softer gesture, for a natural and progressive result.
